Dr.
Van, a Board-Certified ophthalmologist, received her bachelor’s
degree with cum laude honors from the University of California,
Santa Cruz and her doctorate of osteopathy from Ohio University
College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she served as president
of the Sigma Sigma Phi National Honors Society. Dr. Van
completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Meridia South
Pointe Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio and her residency in
ophthalmology at Doctor’s Hospital, which is affiliated with
Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She served as Chief
Resident of Doctor’s Hospital from 2000-2001. Dr. Van is a
member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American
Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic College of
Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology, and the Texas Medical
Association. Besides general ophthalmology, Dr. Van also
specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, trabeculectomy,
blepharoplasty and pediatric eye care. Dr. Van is fluent in
Vietnamese. When not practicing ophthalmology, she enjoys being
outdoors and spending time with her husband and three children.
